Mini Shoot| Library Love

 

 Lately I've been getting asked to do quite a few shoots for different projects and it has been an interesting yet enjoyable road for me, I really enjoy dressing up as much as I love designing, being apart of great shoots such as this one, is really inspiring for me... and I just love being able to share that with you guys. <3

These great photo's were taken by an aspiring photographer and good friend of mine Kelly Valladares, she was really inspired by this new Section of our library which had just been redone with amazing designs and an impressive collection of fashion books, classics, and art work all donated to our school by the great Charles Nolan after passing away. This shoot was not just a shoot but, a reflection of my life, dreams, and goals as a young designer. Being surrounded by this inspiring figures work and countless others just gave me the greatest vibe ever. Hope you enjoy this shoot as much as I did.

Fringed Babe

Here's just a mini shoot I had the other day with one of my favorite ModeAmen tees and two ModeAmen necklaces. These items, and more will be coming to ModeAmen.com Spring/Summer of 2013.

Changing skies

 Lately...
 I've been getting inspired by the incredible Lykke Li, not only her style of music but her overall sense of  being seems to have a huge impact on my creative lifestyle.
    As a young designer I am still discovering all the styles I can create... basically I still don't have my "look" completely figured out yet, after seeing these lovely photographs  I definitely feel a step closer to what I need to accomplish when it comes to my line.
 The "changing skies phase" (as I like to call it) always seem to be a consistent transition in my life, I no longer resent it and get stressed out as I once use to, but I now just fully engulf it, letting myself be free, especially after someone recently told me diversity is good.

Hope you lovely readers enjoy hearing my creative process as an artist in many fields.

An artful week

 My week in a bundle...
visiting the most beautiful museums here in NYC, taking photos of people with great outfits, laughter, sewing, spending a lot of time on my laptop preparing details for my show, on the hunt for inspiration in any way shape or form,... and capturing those moments as long as my camera battery isn't dead. ;)

-Here's just a few of my current favorite inspiration fashion videos, I can honestly watch fashion film videos all day, if you're a fashion lover or a designer like myself, then I am sure you'll find these videos entertaining especially if you're a lover of bohemian style as much as I am! I am absolutely obsessed with creative direction and this is something I do for every shoot with my photographers and something I'm working on now.

*I've been cooking up some great pieces for the very first ModeAmen fashion show, to kick off ModeAmen.com  ! ....Which might explain why I haven't been blogging quite as often.  I hope you lovely readers understand, and of course more details will follow along with a blog giveaway for two front row seats to my show! In the mean time I will be blogging my inspiration and my life encounters two to three times a week tops since I am so incredibly busy, hope you all enjoy, trust me it will be worth it.  Life's Sweetest moments lately,

* Great moments with my stylish best friend Angelic.
* Trips to my favorite bakery which  never fails to make me laugh at the name of it.
* Trying to add more holistic products to my life, visiting this great store on Lexington.
* Taking way too many photos of my sisters adorable dog.
* Snapping photos of Vintage Trinket's great socks and sneaker wedges (genius).
* Lastly exploring myself more deeply as I snap photos; discovering  a different way of life along with fashion, viewing my life as an art, while enjoying the sweet moments life has to offer.
