It's always a pleasure working with the beautiful Cristina Rodriguez on set! Here's some teaser snaps from one of the looks, featuring original  ModeAmen pieces styled by Amber Lee . Art directed and designed by myself!
It feels so great to finally start re shooting and working hardcore on ModeAmen.com again there's definitely creative juices flowing and I can't wait to share those changes on my site, and new items with you! I am so thankful to collaborate with such an amazing team yet again.

Hope you guys are all enjoying your week, I've been terribly sick. Tea, lemon, and honey have been my life as of lately! Luckily since the weather was perfect yesterday in NYC, I was able to go outside catch a brief moment and snap some photos by my favorite bakery, while heavily drinking tea of course... I guess you can say, being sick doesn't stop me from dressing up or stop my urge to design.

At last the good weather has arrived in New York city! I've been anticipating the time  to whip out this romantic skater dress and my boho sun hat,what better time to do this Coachella inspired look. Although I am not at Coachella, I  definitely am inspired by this great weather to dream up some Cali inspired outfits! I really love non - constricting clothing, like Brandy Melville, it's just the best feeling being able to move freely. A dress like this is also really easy to pair things with, like a long necklace and your favorite booties. 

I also decided to pair this dress with these amazing hair pins I made. I am so proud of these simple yet elegant pins! Also Speaking of things I  made, I have been sewing non stop and just thought I should share that with you! I currently made a Brazilian cut pair of undies shown above! I absoultely love the contrast between the lace and the pink. I have always wanted to make lingerie so I am super glad the time has finally arrived! This of course is just one of the many projects, I am currently working on for  ModeAmen.com

Thrifted Nostalgia

 I've always been attracted to sunflowers, and bright yellows. Here's some great snaps from last summer of me wearing everything thrifted from GoodWill. I completely forgot to post this amazing post, so here you go! Perfect timing if you ask me, considering every New Yorker including myself are going through crazy Summer withdrawals!

 Last summer I was trying to go for a more sixties vibe mixed with spain inspired items and modern trends... cough, cough my Matthew Healy haircut! Thank goodness my hair has grown... even though I did rock it ;] If you guys get a chance hit up some Good Will's  around your area,, it's always good to play around with your style. Good Will is so amazing, especially if you live down South; you're blessed with more options and great prices.

 I got this amazing vintage skirt from South Carolina's GoodWill for only five dollars while visiting. Good Will is always good so give it a try and who knows, you might end up like me, with a flowy skirt that keeps you spinning!
